Our Story
Starlight Play started the way many good ideas do — out of frustration and love.
I tried every learning app, educational platform, and video content I could find for my 6-year-old son with ASD and ADHD. Nothing worked. He'd lose interest in 2 minutes and have a meltdown when I tried to re-engage him.
The problem wasn't the technology. It was that none of these apps featured what he actually loved: steam trains.
So I built him a simple game where he could construct his own steam train with passenger cars, coal cars, and oil tankers. He played for 45 minutes straight. No prompting. No meltdowns. Pure engagement.
That's when I realized: the secret isn't better educational content — it's content about what they love.

Our Mission
Starlight Play provides free, sensory-friendly games and learning apps for children with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences. Every game is built around kids' special interests — because engagement is the foundation of learning.
Community-Driven
Every game on our platform started with a parent saying “my child loves...” We listen to families and build games around their children's interests. Registered users can vote on the next game or learning app we create.
We're growing beyond games too — interactive quizzes and learning experiences are on the way, all designed with the same sensory-friendly, interest-driven approach.
